After buying brand-new hardware, we moved with additional dedicated server-resources into the first-colo datacenter.
The first-colo datacenter is located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in the Accent Office Center and provides features that are perfectly suitable for the needs of gameserver-hosting:

• only a few meters distance to Europe's most important Internet-exchange-point DE-CIX
• redundant fibre-glass connection
• 480 Gbit/s routing-equipment
• 140 Gbit/s connection to multiple carriers
• native IPv4 and IPv6 infrastructure
• scalable Networkinfrastructure with modern CWDM-technology
• more then 1 megawatts of power-supply
• 3,2 megawatts power-supply planned
• redundant transformers in seperate areas
• Eco-Green battery backup
• powerful diesel-generators in case of a power outage
• 104 kW cooling-equipment
• 24 000m³/h air-circulation
• 50 cm double-floor height for perfect air-circulation

Especially the fast low-latency fibre-glass connection is perfect for high bandwidth-demands and extremly low network-latencies (pings).

But the internet-connection is not the only point of view. The server's hardware plays also an important role regarding the gameserver-performance:

As you can clearly see here, our hardware is mostly based on Intel's XEON cpu's.
Every server contains at least 16 GB DDR3 ECC Ram. This guarants always large reserves for future demand and high-performance hosting.
